About Us

The Nobelity Project is a certified 501(c)3 education and action non-profit working towards a more peaceful and sustainable world. One of our principal goals is to connect people all over the world with reliable information and innovative thinking on pressing problems like global warming, the energy challenge, global health, economic disparity and development, cultural understanding, nuclear proliferation and general questions of war and peace.

Our outreach and impact is accomplished through informative and motivating documentary films that are widely available without charge to education communities, through commercial sales to the general public and through the internet. Recently The Nobelity Project has funded the building of the first high school in Mahiga, Kenya- a rural community with limited water and financial resources.  Mahiga Hope High School is open with the support of thousands of our contributors that are committed to the idea that education shouldn't end at the 8th grade.

We serve a wide and diverse group through film screenings and television, on DVD, through our websites at www.nobelity.org and other internet outlets, and through the Nobelity in Schools program, which engages young people in the issues that will shape their own futures. Our multi-platform outreach empowers students with knowledge about pressing global issues and provides inspiration and opportunity for student-centered social action.

Teachers who join our Nobelity In Schools network receive free DVDs that are complemented by The Nobelity WebQuest— a fully interactive Web 2.0 constructivist learning tool that provides students with current, reliable information, enables them to construct their own knowledge about the pressing world issues, and empowers them to "Pick an Issue". The Nobelity in Schools program and the Nobelity Webquest deepen student engagement using innovative web technologies to connect classroom experience to the real world. As students explore the Nobelity WebQuest they are encouraged, inspired and empowered to:

Get Smart. Get Involved. Have Fun. Change the World.

Our education outreach is made possible by  the generous support of the Dell Foundation, the Applied Materials Foundation, the Wright Family Foundation and the AKR Foundation.
